3 years...

It was 3 years ago today we took a huge risk and made this little house our home.

Kinda crazy if you think about it. We closed on our home 11 months into our relationship with no commitment of marriage. We were by no means stable in the months before; make ups followed by break ups but it always felt right with Brian. I don't think we would have made it if we didn't buy this home. We have always been real couple, we fight, we yell and we occasionally say things we regret but underneath it all there is an amazing love. With in the walls and outside of this home we have shared so many moments and emotions. I am so glad I get to spend my home and my life with him. Most importantly love lives here.

Fall Fashion Week- Last Day

Well hasn't this been fun?!?! I'm pretty pleased I was able to stick with this challenge for 5 of the 7 days. Lessons I've learn photographing myself for 5 days. 1.) I should really learn to use my new camera. 2.) A camera stand would be a fun investment. 3.) My hair looks better down and semi dirty. I have had a blast this week. I've received so many kind comments and found so many sweet blogs to follow. Thanks Deanna for hosting. If you want to see some of what the other gals are wearing today please click here. Now on to what I wore yesterday.

Red Skinnies- Old Navy Rock Stars
Gray T- Victoria's Secret
White Tank- Mandee
Floral Bag- H&M
Flip Flops- Old Navy
Little Brown Bag- Olive and Grape-
We bought white truffle, garlic olive oil and chocolate raspberry balsamic vinegar.

Its not common both Brian and I have the day off together. Yesterday we seized the day ant took off on a 2 hr road trip to two cute little towns, Lambertville, NJ and New Hope PA.These 2 towns rest on the Delaware River. We walked, shopped and ate all day. They are such adorable towns with tons of mom and pop shops, consignment stores and haunted mansions. Can't wait to go back.

Fall Fashion Favorites

I think Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year for fashion. I love the colors, textures and wearability of it all. No winter coat to screw it all up!

Some of my recent purchases for Fall include:

- STRIPES- Lots of them! A navy and red stripe handbag. A striped dress for Old Navy and the most adorable navy and green stripe shirt to wear with my favorite green jeans.

- Open Front Sweaters- Beige and cream, Black and White, and Gray

- Cheetah flats- I'm tempted to try them with my red skinnies. What do you think?

- Scarves- A peacock pattern and a new beige and brown!

- Black flat boots- I basically killed my black boots last year. I should get them repaired but while I wait I picked up a cheap pair last week.

- Sweaters- I have been eyeing this beauty up for a few weeks and I finally committed to it. Fun and colorful!

One question- I really want leg warmers but I'm afraid I'll look ridiculous? What do you say; yay or nay?

Here are a few inspiration outfits. I'm going to try and recreate them. I can see myself wearing these apple picking, Oktoberfest, bonfires and craft festivals.

What are your favorite Fall staples?

Fall Fashion Week Day 4

I barely wanted to get out of my hoodie and sweat pants this morning. I had one of those terrible dream nights. I hardly slept at all. It could have been the massive pain in my head and teeth. The dentist was night kind to my teeth at all. I had cracked a tooth last week and had my mouth drilled for 2 hours. I still hurt.

Good news is I went to Weight Watchers last night. I lost another 2.6! So in two weeks I lost 5.8! I'm really proud of myself. I feel great. I don't feel hungry and I fell as if I'm finally healing after so many rough things this summer. I cant wait to start fitting into those tight pants that are currently hiding in the very back of the closet. Those simple reinforcers are huge for me.

Here is what I'm wearing today. I wish this top photographed better. It's a mint green. I also wish I looked a bit better today. My cheek is still a bit swollen.

Mint Top- H&M
Tank- H&M
Skinnies- Old Navy
Jewel Flats- NY and Co
Earrings- H&M
Mint and Pink Necklaces- Forever 21

Fashion Week, Day 3

As you may have guessed I completely missed linking up yesterday for the Fall Fashion week.
delirious rhapsody

Honestly, I played softball all morning. I'm a catcher so my black uniform was covered in dirt. Not really fashion forward! After our game we quickly ran out to spend the day with our 2 nephews. I had good intentions to wear and post one of my most favorite weekend outfits. Here is the only shot I got of me the entire day:

I know, its pretty bad. I was attempting to maneuver a youtube video while taking a picture with a 2 week old and 3 year old. Anyways, how cute are they?!?!
I'm wearing some of my outfit staples.

Navy Cardigan- Forever 21
White T and tank- Target
Ripped Boyfriend Jean- Lauren Conrad for Kohls
Pink Converse

So I'm trying to make up for it today. I feel funny getting dressed cute for the dentist. The dentist is my LEAST favorite place in the world. I actually have terrible anxiety about it. It could be that and my Weight Watchers weigh in tonight. Nothing like a work free day with so much stress.

Here is what I'm wearing today:

Forgive me as I really need a camera stand! Like I said before I am by no means a fashion blogger/model. I just really love clothes!

This sweater is my most favorite new purchase of the season.
Sweater: Old Navy
Skinny Jeans: Old Navy, $9
Tank- Target
Shoes- Target, $4.98

Have I mentioned I love a good sale. I'm not sure of the pairing of the shoes and the sweater. There is a green in the shoes. What do you think?

Fall Fashion Week

Today marks the first day of Fall Fashion Week blog style. I've always have good intentions to participate in blog posts revolving around fashion and what I wore but it never seems to work out. I'm really hoping to stick to this one. There are really no excuses considering I'm off all week! I love a good challenge anyways.

Brown Skinnies: Old Navy
Chambray Top: Old Navy
Black Tank: H&M
Leopard Flats: Target
Wristlet: Gussy Sews
Geode Earrings: Style Counsel

I wore this outfit last night on our dinner date. I went and got my hair done and I actually felt really pretty so hubs and I went out for an amazing sushi dinner. Mr. Sushi is some of the best I've had. Perfect for Weight Watchers because they have some dishes with no rice.  Since I saved so many points on sushi we also treated ourselves to some cookies and took a 2 mile walk.
