Thoughts on Shop My Closet...

Hello, my name is Kristina and I'm a shopoholic.

I have no room in my closets. Yes, closets as in plural. I have taken over the walk in closet, spare room closet, and two dressers! It truely is a ridiculous obsession. I need some help getting rid of the items!

I've been playing with the idea of starting a paypal account and selling some of my clothes through this site. I have been a huge fan of consignment shops in the past but I feel like the shop has recently been screwing me over. A top recently sold for $14.95 at the shop and I was credited $1.97. The split was always 60% them and 40% me. Not bad, right? When I questioned them they stated that was the correct split. Now I am terrible at math but in no language does that work out to 60%, 40%. A friend of mine shared that she had a similiar problem. Honestly it isn't worth the hassle or aggravation for me. I donate a lot of stuff but the stuff in really great condition I would really love to sell.

I shop, A LOT. Probably a little more than I should. I have clothes, jewelry and plenty of accessories. Sizes range from Medium, Large, 12-14. I'm rather busty so there are a few XL blouses and blazers. I take very good care of my items so I can assure you they are in good shape. Most have only been worn a handful of times. Items included in the sale are from some of my favorite stores. These include Old Navy, NY and Co., Ann Taylor, F21, H&M, Charlotte Rousse and Target.

I would like to know if any of my readers would be interested in any items? I've never done this before so helpful hints would be appreciated. I'm not sure of shipping or how figure shipping costs into the items. I through out the idea on Twitter today but haven't received any responses as of yet. Boohoo! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Fall Fashion Week Day 5

Three days in a grow. I'm on a roll. Last night I went out to dinner with my friend Lindsey. I was feeling pretty casual. I love this dress. Its a summer dress but its also simple and black. I can wear it in the usmmer with sandals and through the fall and winter I can see myself pairing it with some fun leggings, boots and jackets.

Denim Jacket- GAP. Its 12 years old and my absolute favorite item in my closet

Fall Fashion Week Day 4

I barely wanted to get out of my hoodie and sweat pants this morning. I had one of those terrible dream nights. I hardly slept at all. It could have been the massive pain in my head and teeth. The dentist was night kind to my teeth at all. I had cracked a tooth last week and had my mouth drilled for 2 hours. I still hurt.

Good news is I went to Weight Watchers last night. I lost another 2.6! So in two weeks I lost 5.8! I'm really proud of myself. I feel great. I don't feel hungry and I fell as if I'm finally healing after so many rough things this summer. I cant wait to start fitting into those tight pants that are currently hiding in the very back of the closet. Those simple reinforcers are huge for me.

Here is what I'm wearing today. I wish this top photographed better. It's a mint green. I also wish I looked a bit better today. My cheek is still a bit swollen.

This Saturday we hit the historic Wellmont Theater in Montclair to see Boyce Avenue. Have you heard of them? I fell in love after listening to their cover of "We Found Love" The bonus had to be Secondhand Serenade.

After a pretty great show we found ourselves at a Sonic car hop with a hot dog and cherry limeade. Why bother being adults and getting a martini in Montclair when we can pig out at 1am in a Sonic?

Its been an exhausting weekend. Worked on Saturday, concert and spent today in Long Island with Brian's grandparents.
Can't believe the weekend is over!
