Nail Polish Swap

A few weeks ago I joined in with Perfectly Imperfect Jen and I Wore Yoga Pants to Work participated in a nail polish swap. Thank you both for hosting the swap!




Rules were to spend $15 on polish before shipping.

I was partnered with Melissa  so go visit if you'd like to see what I sent her. Of course I forgot to take pictures BUT I sent her 4 colors; one for each season. I also sent her some Sephora Nail Stickers and some pedicure goodies.


Here are the goodies I received.

 They were packaged adorable.

I got the package a week ago today and I have already wore 3 of the colors.

Oh How Pinteresting- Hair and Nails

I have a serious obsession with nail polish.  I really need to get a bit more obsessed with doing my hair! I have always had shorter hair styles but I decided about 3 years ago to grow it out after many requests of my then boyfriend, now fiancé. My hair is naturally curly. Not the nice curl. Its more of a fizzy mess most of the time. Often I pull my hair back or braid it instead of spending the time in the morning curling it or blowing it out. I'm hoping for some hair inspiration from Pinterest to go along with my nail obsession.

Weekend Recap (a day late)

This past weekend was pretty uneventful besides picking momma up from her trip to GA on Saturday night. I was realy glad to see her but I know she wishes she was still with my aunt. Sadly her health declined this week and she was admitted back into the hospital. Turns out the rehab hospital she was in gave her an overdose of medication. Like she doesn't have enough working against her now she has to deal with this. Keep sending those good vibes I know she could really use them now!

Off to a lighter topic. I have been feeling under the weather and did a lot of napping which NEVER happens only when I'm sick. I had an extra day off this week and did lots of stuff around the house.

I tried pampering myself by doing this water marble project.

HEY NICE NAILS

This SOOOOO did NOT work. I gave up! I followed all the directions on the blog and it still look like a clumpy mess.

I also had a huge craving for chocolate this week so I made these little pieces of HEAVEN. I can't express how delicious these were.

Becky Bakes

On Sunday we spent the day relaxing at the pool with family. I ended up sleeping under a towel with a puppy on my lap for hours. Thank goodness that picture disappeared but I did click this one late Saturday night/early Sunday morning on our return for the airport.

This sums up our weekend pretty well!
