Two Years Ago

Two years ago this week we set sail for our honeymoon cruise. I can't believe it has 2 years already! Cruising was a blast and cant wait to do it again. Bermuda was fantastic and I would go back in a second. 

I've heard such great things from people who have cruised with their families too. I'd love to take a Disney Cruise with Jack when he is a bit older.

I don't always acknowledge how great Brian is. I don't always focus on the positive. Sometimes all I need is a little reminder. There may or may not be a double motive for this post. Although I love sharing ideas and things I love on this blog I also would like my husband to read so he gets an idea of what I would like to see wrapped under our Christmas tree. I married a procrastinator for certain. I'm ok with it because I too procrastinate in everyday life just not shopping. Last year Brian went shopping the night before Christmas Eve and bought me the LARGEST perfume gift set. Sounds wonderful but I really don't like perfume. I always feel like the smell is strong and chokes me all day. Bless his heart he asked all the girls he worked with about things they like so he thought it was perfect. This year I'm wishing he takes a peek over at the old blog for some idea.

Honeymoon Part 2

Once we came ashore in Bermuda we jumped off the cruise ship and right back in a boat and did a little snorkeling. Sadly we didn't take the camera along. This was suggested to us by our captain and I'm quiet bummed about it. The colors were so beautiful I wish I could share it with you all. We were in a boat with about 15 others. We did a shallow water dive and another deep water dive. I was lucky enough to swim directly above the reefs. It was beautiful and peaceful. There was just something about the quiet and being alone.

I was so very excited about our next shore excursion. I have always wanted to swim with dolphins and I'm so lucky I got the chance. I was as excited as a 5 year old on Christmas morning! It was the best thing I have ever done. The peace I was so desperately searching for was found in this small cove. For the first time in weeks I was genuinely happy.

We have even set up some excursions. We will be swimming with dolphins and snorkeling above some shipwrecks. I'm so excited but nervous. I really don't enjoy traveling. Is that weird? I really like the idea of traveling but I am so much more of a home body. The nerves tend to get the best of me. I'll be nervous till the day we leave.  I've already started shopping for fun vacation attire and have most of them lined up in our guest room waiting to be packed.

Oh that note I think I'm going to need a few guest bloggers in a couple of weeks. Email me!

Honeymoon...

If you have been following my wedding planning journey you probably already know I'm getting married in a few short weeks and have yet to plan my honeymoon. Yep, I am a complete failure.

To be honest the whole process was stressing me out. I really have a terrible fear of flying but I'm feeling pressured to fly. Originally I was set on a cruise. Brian's most favorite place to go is Bermuda so we had planned a 7 night cruise out of New York to Bermuda. Three days out at sea and the rest in Bermuda.

With lots of pressure I felt pushed to fly to Bermuda. Its only a 2 hour flight which in normal people terms is short...For me the lunatic its like a lifetime. I only wish I could make up my mind.

While I can't decide I'll just have to dream of some beautiful Bermuda spots like this one...
