What an insane weekend we had! I took today off just so Jack and I could recover from it! I will say Jack got lots of rest on Monday. He slept late and took a nice long nap.
On Friday Brian and I attended the wedding of my sweet friend Lesley. Lesley is one of my great friends. We met about 7 years ago while playing softball. We both were single and supported one another while on line dating. What I love most about her is when I met a guy online (my now husband) I was afraid to go out with him and she pushed me to not cancel. I always like to remind her that she had a small part in getting us together.
Brian and I don't spend a lot of time away from Jack. We've only went on one date since Jack arrived. Probably not the best choice... Any who, it was difficult for us to let loose and have fun for a bit but once the music started and I had plenty of wine we had a nice time!
It was really hard waking up at 4:30 with a screaming baby. I had a really tough time on Saturday morning but we got ourselves ready and we were off to my nephew's 6th birthday party. Jack had a blast! Lots of little ones running around and getting dirty.
BTW, Jack pooped on the potty on Saturday!!!!
He's been watching his cousin potty train for several months and little man picked it up easily!
Sunday morning Brian went to work so this momma didn't get much rest. Jack was up at 7:30. No breakfast in bed for me. Instead I got Jack dressed and we went out to Starbucks and out for bagels. My little man and I ate breakfast on our deck and shared some smiles. In the afternoon when Brian arrived home we went to visit my family to celebrate the rest of the day. We stayed late and I finished my busy, no relaxation Mother's Day with a sleepy baby on my chest along with NY Rangers hockey!
Hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day!

Happy 3 Years
On this day 3 years ago we became husband and wife.
It's been a wild ride!
Here's a picture overload for you!
On April 29th 2 years ago was the first time I thought I was pregnant!
Six days later my thought was confirmed.
April 29th is my favorite day!

2 Years...
Two years ago on a beautiful Sunday afternoon we both walked down the aisle, vowed to always love one another and became husband and wife.
These are some of my favorite memories from that day. There were so many great parts of April 29, 2012 but nothing comes close to the day that we shared on January 5, 2014 when we gave birth to the most perfect little boy.

What To Wear... My Brother's Wedding
My brother is getting married in less than a month and I need to find something quick. I'm afraid to by anything because by the time the wedding comes I'll be 9 months pregnant. I feel like a big growth spurt is going to happen any day now.
I'd really like to go low key and not spend a fortune. I'd really like to avoid anything over $50. Does that sound cheap?!?! Sorry, I'm not sorry. I just can't see myself spending a fortune on a dress I'll never wear again!
I've seen a bunch of really cute dresses on ASOS but their largest size in most dresses are 14. I'm worried they may not fit! Before the bump I was a 14 especially on top so I'm concerned. I may order a couple of dresses because they have no shipping both ways. Has anyone ordered from them? Do the sizes run true?
Here are just a few that I'm loving:
Which one do you like?
Does anyone have any other suggestions on places to shop?

This Weekend...
What a fantastic fall weekend we had. A weekend like this past one goes down in the record book as one of the greats!
Friday started off pretty great considering I took the day off and spent the day treating myself to new shoes, a hair color and cut, followed up with some crafting for our baby shower! I spent most of the day alone and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The best part was crafting Friday night while watching Steel Magnolias. I just adore that movie!
Saturday we were guest at my best friend Lindsey's wedding. It was such a fantastic day. We were so honored to celebrate such a beautiful day with amazing friends.
On Sunday we woke up early and spent our day in the apple orchard where we spent our first date and the spot of our engagement. Visiting Applewood Orchard is my most favorite day of the year. We visit Applewood every year and take lots of pictures. This year seemed a little extra special with a baby on the way. Five years later and its nice to see how far we have come.
