I found this adorable link up over at Melissa's blog. The idea is to answer a bunch of questions about yourself and follow it up by asking your significant other the same questions. The comparison is the best part. Especially dealing with my husband. It's fun just to see how Brian really sees me.

Of course it wouldn't be Valentine's Day with out sharing a bunch of my favorite pictures of Brian and I. Each one below has been a very special day in our lives, from dates, vacations, softball, bridal shower, wedding and our honeymoon. I couldn't think of a better guy to have by my side.

Oh How Pinteresting Valentine!

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!
Halfway through we can do this. Seeing how tomorrow is Valentine's Day I found it fitting to post some V-Day favorites today. What does everyone have planned for tomorrow or are you doing something this weekend? We are skipping tomorrow and going out over the weekend. I asked B last night what we were doing. He still has no idea, lol. I've heard of a nice wine and chocolate festival at a local winery. I think I may slip him the idea!

Week of Love- Our Love Story

The past few weeks I have read so many beautiful love stories. Sometimes we get so tied up with the everyday that we don't take time to realize how beautiful things can be. I don't always acknowledge how great Brian is. I don't always focus on the positive. Sometimes all I need is a little reminder. It's always nice to look back at some old posts to remind me of the moments that made me so happy

I thought I would share just a few of my favorite moment.

Happies and Crappies

The Vintage Modern Wife: Happies and Crappies Link Up

HAPPIES:

- Sleepover party with momma tonight. That also means, wine, chocolate, movies and fun!!!

- Mega sales at Old Navy this week. I bought jeans for $5, mint cords for $10, active tank for $2 similar, red wrap dress for $6 similar and lots of other goodies like this and this

- Treated myself to some great mascara. Oh Dior I love you!!!!

- Sushi dinner dates with Brian.

- Gel Manicures. Why did I ever stop getting my nails done!

- Lost .8 at Weight Watchers even with Superbowl munchies. I totally indulged.

CRAPPIES:

-WINTER STORM NEMO!!!

- Worrying about my husband driving in the snow, in his Civic. I really hate that we both have jobs where we MUST report even when blizzards or hurricanes are in the forecast.

- 3am wake ups. I had the worst nightmares, yes that would be plural, last night. Couldn't fall back to sleep. The worst.

-Gray roots. I must get those fixed.

-Sciatic nerve pain. It has  gotten so bad recently. I can barely drive or sit without pain.

Happy Friday!
If you're expecting winter snow please be safe. If you're lucky enough to avoid it. Good for you!!!

It's OK

Its Ok Thursdays

It's Ok:

- To be dreading the potential of 30 inches of snow tomorrow. WTH, 30 inches!!! That is just ridiculous!
- That this stupid snow will snow me in at my parents and I'm excited about a sleepover party with mom. It usually includes wine, chocolate and movies!
- To go shopping for yourself 2 days in a row and buy a lot of stuff I really didn't need.
- To fall asleep by 9pm the past few nights.
- That I haven't cooked dinner at all this week.
- That I adore zumba class. Most zumba days are my favorite.
- To not have any plans for Valentine's Day.
- That Brian and I aren't really romantic but it might be nice to do something romantic.
- That I accidentally got a little tipsy the other night after 2 Skinny Girl Cosmos. ooops!
- To be super excited about sushi dinner with my best friend tonight.
- To be excited for Despicable Me 2.

New Week. New Start

I took a slight break last week from blogging. I tried to take a break from a lot of the overwhelming stress that had begun to rule my life the last month. Everything seemed to effect me in a terribly negative way. I was having panic attacks, breaking out in hives and crying regularly. Last week I worked on a lot on myself and I will continue to do so. I'm not cured or fixed but I'm trying and I'm feeling in a slightly better place than last week at this time. Last week didn't come easy though. As I worked on myself I got word that my grandmother had a heart attack. Thankfully she just got home from the hospital and doing well. It was a test for me to hold it all together. It made sound slightly selfish of me but I really put myself first this week. I stopped worrying about everyone else and everything I had no control over. The month of January had just run me down. I worried about everything. I couldn't sleep at night and couldn't stay up at work. I was physically and mentally exhausted. For a month I hadn't wanted to do anything for myself. I hadn't stuck to my Weight Watchers diet or even want to go to Zumba and have fun. I was to exhausted and tired to do anything.

I can not thank you all enough for such positive words and wishes after my post last week! I even spoiled myself this weekend. I took a Zumba class which I haven't had been interested in doing for the past week. I used a gift card from Christmas and treated myself to some new clothes at Old Navy, a bunch of goodies from Sephora and a gel manicure. I spent the day by myself. No interferences, just quiet time with myself. (In a crazy, busy mall!) It's nice to be alone with your thoughts even if there are hundreds of people surrounding you. I had nothing planned or scheduled. I took my time. I did some window shopping. Got a good cup of coffee. I even did some window shopping at Crumbs but I had some self control and didn't one. It's only because I indulged in a bagel on the way there.

While I was away from blogging for a week it was nice to be me. Here are a few snippets from last week.

New nails, lots of time with Bogart, cupcake dates with friends, snow LOTS of it, lots of curls, new paint color for our bedrooms (I think I'm going with the long one on the left), Baby shower
