LIFE, LOVE AND A SPLASH OF SOME GLAMOUR

You Gotta Fight...

I not sure why the death of Beastie Boy Adam Youch has hit we so hard last week but it did. It reminded me of just being a crazy teenager. My best friend Jaclyn and I would ride around in her 84 Buick Regal known only as The Buiey. We were monsters I'm pretty sure of it. We sped, smoked and cursed a lot. Most of the time there was nothing to do besides the party, late movie, Goshen Diner or the Joe's Video where we had crushes on the guys that worked there. Our favorite things to play on her tape deck, yep thats right tape deck, was License to Ill. My favorite was definitely Brass Monkey. We would pretend there was a turn table on her dash board. As we grew up I would always remember the sounds of our high school life and the Beastie Boys was always one of them. It still takes me right back there.

Thank you for being the soundtrack of a large part of my life.
Rest peaceful.

Well done Chris Martin....

I'm so glad someone posted about MCA. I wanted to but couldn't find the words I wanted, lol. But I was so sad when I heard the news. I loved the Beastie Boys and listening to them and going to their shows are some awesome memories I hope I never forget!
