Fill In the Blank Friday

This work week can't come fast enough.
Finally have a weekend free from work and stress!

Linking up with Lauren

1. My current obsession is Nutella. I've been eating it in my oatmeal with sliced bananas in the morning. SOOOOO yummy!

2. Fall make me happy.

3. My greatest strength is my ability to get things done. I hate having tasks hang over my head so I get on task and I work until its finished. Kinda like this a lot these days with planning the wedding!

4. When I add other people's stress and bad attitudes to my life. I let their problems bring me down and that is my greatest weakness.

5. My life is HAPPY. I have an amazing family, support system, house and fiance. This time of year always reminds me of the amazing things and people I have. All my really happy moments in life always seem to take place in the fall.

6. In high school I was quiet. I wanted to go un noticed. I didn't really stand out. I was friendly with everyone.

7. When I'm super tired I cuddle up on the couch under lots of blankets and cover my head with pillows or cover my eyes with my hands. I did a lot of this the past week. This darn cold has knocked me out!

If your stopping by for the first time be sure to check out and enter my GIVEAWAY

What are your weekend plans? Anything fun and exciting? I'm really hoping I feel well enough to hit up a local Oktoberfest. I need more German food and beer in my life!

Enjoy your weekend!

Hey all,

I am very excited to offer my very first giveaway in honor of my one year Engagement anniversary...

How would you like to win this cutie?

This adorable garter was a gift I received for purchasing my wedding gown from RK Bridal If you are getting married in the NJ or NY area I really urge you to stop in and check them out. I had a WONDERFUL experience with them. The store is huge. They do not take appointments so I could suggest a weekday morning.  Well worth the stop. Oh and they guarantee the lowest price. I got my beautiful St Patrick Gown for a ridiculously great price.

I had already won my garter so this one is up for grabs.

If you already have a garter to wear this could be a perfect garter to use doing the garter toss during your reception. It is super cute and very delicate. I love the stitched eyelet and beaded rose.
Clearly by the looks of these I am not a photographer but I'm pretty sure you guessed that one!

So brides, b-maids, maid's of honor get ready! Here are all they ways you can win:

MANDATORY: Follow me via Google Friend Connect and leave me a comment saying you did in along with the moment of your wedding you are anticipating the most.

Letter to 17 year old me

Dear 17 year old Kristina,

There are so many things I want to share with you but first more then anything you should know you are loved. Things aren't so great and I know but they will get better. It will take a VERY long time but things will turn out just the way you hoped for so don't change or compromise who you are. But remember it will take a long time so while you wait please let this letter help you through your teen angst and the drama of being a young adult. Now I know you are rolling your eyes thinking you know everything but just take a moment

The most important thing I have to share with you is to love your body.
No a size 10 is not fat!
You will get heavier and than lighter.
Your weight will always fluctuate but in no way are you fat.
You have a beautiful, curvy figure. By the time you are 30 you will be wishing for that size 10 and how very perky you are. Love that body you have.
Do not hate it because if you hate yourself no one will respect you.
People will notice you hate your body and use it against you to take advantage!
People will fall in love with your heart and passion.
When you grow up the man you always wished for will fall in love with who you are inside.
He will love you for your passion and your good heart.
While we are on the subject of him, get used to falling asleep early, no more 3am bedtimes with him, get used to fruit in your stuffing, yuck, learn accept the Star Trek thing; yes even the Christmas ornaments

Do NOT ever mistake sex for love.
I know that it is hard to seperate the 2 when you are so young but believe me in 3 short years you will need to know this.
Because you dislike your body you will make this mistake.
Trust me sex does not equal love in all cases.
You will feel MUCH worse the next day.
Respect yourself and others will too.
Stop looking for love in all the wrong places.
It will happen with no strings attached and no pressure to be physical.
You will fall in love. Your heart will break and you will break some hearts too. It hurts but it gets better as the time goes on.

That boy you have a crush on...TELL HIM
Don't hide it and pretent to just be friends.
Let him know how he makes you smile and write in your journal about him.
Show him you love him because he will suddenly be taken from us all way to soon.
You will always regret not telling him.

In a few years you will meet a man
He is not "The One"
He will mistreat you.
He will hit you, belittle you, keep you away from others and seriously hurt you.
Leave him the first time you get that feeling.
You will know the feeling when it happens.
You can't change him so don't try.
He is a mean cruel person on the inside and he will never change.
I know its scary but so many people will be there for you!

The guy who comes into your life as your leaving the above will not be the one either.
He may look like a night in shining armour but he is not.
Good person but not a good boyfriend. He will walk out on you when you need him most.

Follow your career dreams because you will be thankful for your career choice EVERY day!
Your job will be more then a career it will be a passion.

I know I'm giving you tons of information and your head is probably spinning. I promise you that you will need this stuff. Things don't have to always be so serious so on a lighter note:
-That Billabong hoodie and Delia's boots are NOT SEXY! Throw them away sooner not later!
-Your HS bff will be there for everything.
- Stop smoking before you can't run with out weezing and before they are $8 a pack.
- Stop saying the F word in front of people. Its not cool. People think its trashy.
- Don't ever pretend to be drunk. Everyone always knows!

- Call out of work here and there to enjoy high school.
- Go to your high school reunion! You will regret that too.
- NEVER drink beer then Long Islands, EVER! You will sleep on bathroom floor and massive hang over.

In closing all I can say is be HAPPY. We have made mistakes and we will make more but everything works in some crazy way. Continue to care and love like you do. Don't let the world harden your feelings. Love who you are and all who love you.

1.   The best thing I did all week was     taking a Zumba class. I have never done one before but now I see what all the hype is about. It was AWESOME! I danced my butt off. I really felt like I pushed my body and burned mega calories. Can't wait to do it again.

2.    Cuddling      make me super happy.

3.  Pets are   a huge cause of happiness   .

4.    My fiancĂ©    is the best thing about my life.

5.  With the cooler weather I am looking forward to    warm coffee, sweaters, boots, blankets, baking.

6.  Something that's on my "wish list" right now is     to drop 20 pounds and actually feel good the next time I put on my wedding gown.

7.  This weekend I am going to    WORK, ugh, I work an autism camping retreat for 20 hours tomorrow BUT Sunday should be fantastic. I have a softball game then going to the Hoboken Arts and Music Festival. My FAVORITE!

Makes Me Happy

Lately I had been feeling so stressed. It got BAD. I was even losing some of my hair. It scared me so I have really been adjusting the way I feel about things. It funny because Brian and I were super aggravated about something at softball. Yep, softball, something so simple!!! So we decided to take the positive out of the game, I had a great play at the plate, and just move on. Its exactly what we did and had an amazing rest of day. I know I can do this. I just need to find the positive parts of my life and focus on how great it really is.

These make me feel happy.

Why thank you! I need this on my way out the door.

Last night I took my first Zumba class. It was fantastic. I couldn't believe I waited so long. My instructor was so inspiring. Zumba and dieting changed her life. She lost over 100 pounds. I am so sore this morning!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I've got a 14 hour work day today so I am filling up on the coffee now!

Under the Apple Tree

Sunday was my most favorite day of the year. Well, besides losing our softball game and a wicked hang over. B and I went on our annual apple picking trip. Check HERE if you'd like to know why I LOVE me some apple picking.
Oh and red wine too :)

Probably one of my favorite pictures of the 2 of us :)

Strongest man alive???

Our engagement apple tree. I don't know if you can tell but I got teary eyed and started to cry.
I'm such a mush!

What about you guys? What are some of your favorite fall activities?

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
