Two Years Ago

Two years ago this week we set sail for our honeymoon cruise. I can't believe it has 2 years already! Cruising was a blast and cant wait to do it again. Bermuda was fantastic and I would go back in a second.

I've heard such great things from people who have cruised with their families too. I'd love to take a Disney Cruise with Jack when he is a bit older.

Have you cruised with your children? Would you suggest it?

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Week of Love- Our Love Story

The past few weeks I have read so many beautiful love stories. Sometimes we get so tied up with the everyday that we don't take time to realize how beautiful things can be. I don't always acknowledge how great Brian is. I don't always focus on the positive. Sometimes all I need is a little reminder. It's always nice to look back at some old posts to remind me of the moments that made me so happy

I thought I would share just a few of my favorite moment.

Beaches of Bermuda

The beaches of Bermuda are simply amazing. We were lucky enough to see 2 beaches in the 3 days we were on the island. Snorkel Park Beach in the Royal Navy Dockyard was our first stop. This was a complete party beach. Nonstop music (til 3am), drinks and a party atmosphere. We happened on the beach by accident when we were touring the Maritime Museum.

Horseshoe Bay was probably the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. I'm used to the crowded Jersey Shore beaches but Horseshoe Bay far exceeded my expectations.

Oh and yes I did steal some sand for some DIY projects.

Honeymoon Part 2

Once we came ashore in Bermuda we jumped off the cruise ship and right back in a boat and did a little snorkeling. Sadly we didn't take the camera along. This was suggested to us by our captain and I'm quiet bummed about it. The colors were so beautiful I wish I could share it with you all. We were in a boat with about 15 others. We did a shallow water dive and another deep water dive. I was lucky enough to swim directly above the reefs. It was beautiful and peaceful. There was just something about the quiet and being alone.

I was so very excited about our next shore excursion. I have always wanted to swim with dolphins and I'm so lucky I got the chance. I was as excited as a 5 year old on Christmas morning! It was the best thing I have ever done. The peace I was so desperately searching for was found in this small cove. For the first time in weeks I was genuinely happy.
