This year we got free season passes to a local water park, Mountain Creek. We shot out of water slides, jumped off cliffs, and my personal favorite, in which I did alone, the H2O No. H20 No is a 99 foot water slide. It was awesome but like I said today I'm hurting. I think it had a little something to do with this cliff jump. That 23 foot dropped kicked my arse! I'm excited to go back!
After we did a family BBQ. It was perfectly relaxing. I love spending time with our families. On our way home we drove passed the local drive in. Brian, who usually likes to plan things pulled right in and there we were watching The Dark Knight Rises.
Before I say anything about the movie I must add that I couldn't sit through that movie and not think about Colorado. Those poor people. All they wanted to do was see a movie. In the past I had seen The Dark Knight movies on their opening midnight show. It could have been anyone, any of my friends, any of us! So very tragic. My heart aches.
The movie itself was incredible. It was probably the best action movie I've ever seen. Christian Bale has always had a special place in my heart and he is so easy on the eyes. (Potential Christian Gray? Or is he to old???) I was shocked and very pleased with Joseph Gorden-Levitt. I thought his roll was fantastic.
I'm really not looking forward to going to work today. Its probably because my neck and back are on fire. I've already taken 3 Advil. I hope I start feeling better and quick!
What about you, did you do anything fun and spontaneous this weekend?
Enjoy your Monday
