My Fitness Pal...

My Fitness Pal has been my savior this past month. As I have mentioned in the past I have struggled with my weight and self esteem issues for many years. A few years back I lost 60 pounds. I started gaining the weight back and was extremely unhappy with myself.

Just before my heaviest, April 2008.I get kinda sick when I see myself.

With my wedding coming I want to look and feel my best. Plus I want to start the next chapter of my life healthy. My friend Stephanie inspired me with her kick ass weight loss to create a MFP account of my own. Since I had great success with Weight Watchers I figured this was the perfect alternative.

MFP assists with counting my calories and measuring exercise and water intake for each day. I relate it to a weight loss Facebook. You can request friends who can comment on your status updates for the day. For me it has been a huge help to have the support of friends and to offer support to others.

In one month I have lost 10.4 pounds!!!!

When I tried on my wedding gown for a fitting last week it was even larger! I'm starting to see my waist slim down and my jeans fit a little looser! Its such a great feeling. I'm hoping to loss another 10 pounds before the wedding.

Summer 2011, I'm now 10 pounds less then I was in this picture.
A couple of weeks ago. These jeans are getting loose!!!

If you are a member of My Fitness Pal please feel free to request me as a weight loss friend. I'd love to have you as part of my inspiration team!

Yay! That is so awesome! I'm still new to MFP but I like it a lot (and I've been on every friggin' calorie count site out there!)

I admire your honesty and openness. Some subjects are hard to talk about, especially on something as public as a blog, and I respect your ability to talk about your weights goals. Keep going we are all cheering you on and rooting for your success!
