Wedding Ceremony Music

First of all did you guys enter my Birthday Month Giveaway? If not get on that here.

Thanks to Ms. Chelsea because with this post I would have never heard of Vitamin String Quartet! She has solved my ceremony music dilemma! They are beyond fantastic. I didn't want to go traditional with this aspect of our wedding. They are the perfect mix of classic and modern.

Here are a few I think I will ask our DJ to play before the ceremony begins and as our bridal party enters.

Wonderwall- Oasis
Stolen- Dashboard Confessional
Crash Into Me- DMB
Fix You- Coldplay
Across The Universe- The Beatles
The One I Love- REM
Everlong- Foo Fighters

Take a listen:

I have always loved Snow Patrol "Chasing Cars" but this version is just ridiculously good.

I love that they have a redone some Foo Fighters songs.
Foo Fighters are B's favorite band so I love that even though they are rock we can combine them into our ceremony for him!

You all know my love for the Fray.

It seriously doesn't get any better then Dashboard!

What do you think? AMAZING RIGHT!?!?!

What kind of music played during your wedding ceremony?

Thanks again Chelsea!

I love Vitamin String Quartet! Their cover of "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls is my absolute favorite. VSQ is such a good choice for wedding music!

'Fix You' is so totally beautiful ... I love all of these. The acoustic version of 'Everlong' is amazing, too. We went with 'Lovely Day' by Bill Withers for the ceremony prelude, 'You & Me' by DMB for the ceremony processional, and 'Then He Kissed Me' by The Crystals for the ceremony recessional :)

Aw, I'm so happy that I could help you find your ceremony music! Great selections!

We used Yellow for the seating of mothers and grandmothers; Love Remains the Same for bridesmaid procession; and Dare You to Move for the procession of me (the bride). :) LOVED it. Well, besides my DJ letting the first songs skip because he didn't have a wire plugged in. (Yes, I almost came undone.)

I loved picking out the music for my first wedding... I wanted to make sure it was personal rather than the same stuff everyone used.

If I ever get married again I'll probably be the same way!
