I Confess

It's Wednesday so I'm linking up with Confessions of a Northern Belle for this week's version of my confessions:

Toddlers are so much harder than I ever thought. Most days my little man makes me feel so defeated. Some days he even makes me cry and I thought newborns were tough.

I'm a Netflix binger. I like a show and that is it. There is no stopping me. It's bad! We ditched cable tv 2 years ago so there aren't many options. Just started Blue Bloods this week and I'm hooked. I'm sure I'll be done in a couple of weeks.  

I don't like to wish away any days BUT I need Spring in my life. This winter has been a real easy one but there is just something to say about Spring. I want to see tulips and green grass. I want to smell the hyacinths even if they cause crazy allergies! I need denim jackets and capri pants weather and fast!

Job Evaluations took place this week. We were told everyone should expect a solid 3 out of 5. I was a bit disappointed with my 3.11 but didn't complain. Should I? Probably. Would it change anything? Probably not. Do I do my job well? Yes. Do I think I should have gotten a higher score? Yes but I confess I'm not up for the fight sometimes.


I deleted a Facebook friend this week. We went to college together and we were really close. After college she moved, got married but thanks to Facebook we reconnected years back. Anyways we don't really talk but she has bombarded me with buying her "Younique Makeup" I'm over it. Everyone is trying to sell stuff and I get it but don't message me "Hey girl, how are you? I'm selling some..." after we haven't spoken in years. It's just annoying.

Happy Friday friends!



Here are my 5:

1. Yesterday and today I took sick day.s I feel like I'm coming down with something. I don't ever have time to take care of myself so although I stayed home my husband took Jack to my in laws for the day. I hate being away from him but I needed time for myself to sleep off whatever is plaguing my body.

2. My new Chi! My flat iron broke last weekend (It has been about a week of bad hair days) I have had that flat iron since high school. Would you laugh if I told you I graduated in 98? That darn thing was about 20 years old. I bought a Chi on Amazon for a pretty good price. I had lots of suggestions but this one for $75 was perfect for my price range. It also came with a few styling products so that was a happy surprise.

3. Online Shopping- I can't remember the last time I went shopping... at a store! Those darn coupon codes and Amazon Prime make life way to easy. Plus I'm a sucker for the "Spend $59 and get free shipping". Thanks Hobby Lobby! I went on their site to buy 2 cabinet pulls and turned out spending $61! On the other hand, waiting for the packages to arrive and trying to get home before my husband on the day they are supposed to arrive! He would kill me if he really knew how many packages get delivered.

4. Bagels- Those little figure killing bits of amazing, I love you! Toasted, butter, cream cheese, bacon and egg; I'll eat them every single way. YUM!

5. Laguna Beach on the MTV app- All of the seasons of Laguna are now streaming on the MTV app. I'm so excited. I just love all reliving the mascara running drama with flare jeans, ginormous sunglasses and extra large white hobo bags!

I Confess

So I'm back again. Let's hope this sticks a little bit more than it did last time around. I have, what you could call a spark of creativity and have a ton of ideas in my head. It just seems pretty impossible to get them done. One of my favorite bloggers, Caitlyn from Confessions of a Northern Belle, has brought back her Wednesday confessions so I'm happily playing along. So, these are my confessions.

Sorry!

1. I've become slightly obsessed with Chocolate Raspberry Milano cookies. The obsession isn't that bad but the fact I hide them from my family might be.

2. I told a white lie to get out of Jack's swim class last weekend. It was 9 degrees and felt like -25. There was no way I was going out of even thinking about swimming. Oh well! I'm not really sorry about it either.

3. I got a little sad when I saw a bunch of mom's from a mom's group had a Valentine party and Jack and I weren't invited. I'm sure they couldn't invite all the kids and their families. I just felt really sad that Jack was left out. Oh well, we have a few great friends so I shouldn't feel bad but I do. It looked like such a fun time. :(

4. I cry every time I watch that Subaru/dog bucket list commercial. Gets me every time!!!

5. I have blocked so many people on Facebook its amazing. I have a lot of FB friends but the majority of them are so damn annoying!!!! They complain about the warm weather, complain about the cold weather, complain about not getting enough sleep, never mind the political hate... blah blah blah. I can't take the negativity.  Unfollow and block away!
