LIFE, LOVE AND A SPLASH OF SOME GLAMOUR

Hey Santa...

This year for Christmas I am not asking for anything. I haven't asked for anything or made a wish list for the last 3 years. I know, boring. I can't deny there are things I would really like to get my hands on this holiday. So Santa if your out there here are just a few things I wouldn't mind finding under my tree this year. I've been a very good girl this year.

Perfect for our couch. I guess after we finally get married.

I love this decal and think it would so cute.

I want Amazing Grace everything, lotion, shower gel, !!! It will be my wedding perfume!

This just screams out COZY!

I really, really, REALLY want this Kate Spade "MRS" necklace even though I can't technically wear it will April.

This gal would love some new panties.

I've been feeling super crafty lately so a little gift card love to my favorite craft store would be lovely.

I got this Sephora fragrance sampler a few years ago. By far the BEST gift ever! With all the samples you get a gift card for your favorite scent out of the pack. This year I would also like the Sephora Bridal Sampler! AMAZING. I'm having a make up-gasim just thinking about it!

Glitter Toms or maybe a more practical pair. Maybe red!

A custom address label for B and I. I know its going to make our Christmas cards and wedding thank you notes a lot easier to send out next year.

Now I know this little gem is NOT in the budget. Or any budget for that matter but it sure is beautiful.

I've been thinking of a pair of these all day since its going to rain (myabe even some wet snow) for the next 2 days.

I love these. They look super cozy and they are really fun. Not to practical. I'd probably wear them once or my chubby legs wouldn't make them look as cute as they do here.

Tunes Tuesday- Soundtracks

Today marks the final week of Tubular Tunes Tuesday. Thanks to Krystal for hosting the link up. To top the link up off this week the bonus topic is soundtracks. I must admit there aren't many that I know of but I love a small selected few.

DIRTY DANCING-
As a kid of the 80s there is nothing better then the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack. I had the cassette tape and broke it because I listened to it so much. Along with the VHS that I broke from watching over and over. Man oh man was Patrick Swayze so gorgeous and the way his body moved. Its definitely sad he is no longer with us. What a talent!

One Tree Hill Soundtrack.
I love this show and the soundtracks were pretty fantastic.
I found a bunch of pretty great artists including my fav Butch Walker.
Not to mention Tyler Hilton, Katie Voegle, The Weepies, Band of Horses and Story of the Year.

Band Of Horses- Funeral for a Friend

Citizen Cope- Sons Gonna Rise

Story of the Year- Sidewalks

Grey's Anatomy-
I used to love this show before it got a bit redundant. I still love the music!
So many amazing artists, Fiest, Ingrid Michaelson, Snow Patrol...

The Postal Service-Such Great Heights

The Fray- How to Save a Life

Brandi Carlise- The Story

Can't wait to see everyone else's choices.
What are some of your favorite soundtrack tunes.

DIY Holidays...Wine Corks

I'm a crazed wine cork collector. Probably because we are avid wine drinkers too! B and I big fans of Pinot Noir and in the summer I really enjoy Pinot Grigio. My favorites are Smoking Loon and Mark West. We also have a bunch of local wineries where we try a lot of different flavors. Recently we bought Blueberry wine. A little on the sweet side but delicious.

For the holidays I am making it a DIY holiday so I'm trying to make a bunch of adorable crafts. I hope our family will enjoy too. I should mention I come from a family of wine lovers.

I display them in mason jars on my kitchen counter.

Purchased this small wooden serving tray at The Dollar Tree.

This part took FOREVER but I had to fit the corks just perfect. It took a few hours.
I tried to get a bunch labels to show through.
I took a picture for memory, removed them, painted it white.
After the paint dried I added them back to the tray with tacky glue and hot glue.

Its super cute and can be used for display or its a perfect size to use as a hot plate or bulletin board.

Holiday Blog Challenge...Holiday Fashion

Holiday Challenge for today is Holiday Fashion.

Fabulous Holiday Blog Challenge
My family does a very traditional Italian Christmas Eve. My mom cooks 7 different seafood dishes. She usually has about 20 people at the house, Its my favorite day of the year. The food is AMAZING to say the least! Its usually a bit more of a dressy evening. Christmas day has become the more casual day. With a 3 year old nephew we always end up sitting on the floor playing with toys and trucks anyway!

Here are a few imaginary holiday outfits for Christmas Eve.

Casual Christmas Day
Usually something new. If your lucky!

I absolutely love these! I'd pair them with a long sweater dress!

Like what you see? You can follow ME on Pinterest.

What a whooper of the week. I can't wait for the weekend. I'm working tomorrow but we are taking the kids to see Santa at a holiday breakfast. There will be elves, dj, dancing and crafts. Not a bad day at work! We are also heading out to our town's Christmas Tree Lighting. I'm excited.

What's on your agenda for the weekend?

Holiday Blog Challenge...Holiday Movies

Before I get to my post today I would just like to mention I HIT 100 FOLLOWERS yesterday (actually a couple more)! I'm super excited. Thank you so much friends for stopping by my blog and making it happen. It has been a pleasure reading your blog and comments!

Now onto today! I'm linking up with Neely
Day 4 of the challenge- Favorite Holiday Movies!

Fabulous Holiday Blog Challenge
To be honest I watch EVERYTHING Christmas. I love all of the super cheesy Hallmark and Lifetime movies. I watched a bunch already this year!

A Christmas Story
Oh Ralphie! I love this movie more then anything! I watch almost every hour during the Christmas Eve marathon!

 CHARLIE BROWN

The Grinch
The original! The cartoon. No thank you Jim Carrey

The Night They Saved Christmas
Brian and pretty much everyone I know makes fun of me for loving this movie. It is classic, cheesy 1980s! I love it!

Emmit Otter Jug Band Christmas.
This movie has always been a favorite. Its so sweet plus its a Jim Henson so you have to love it!

It Happened on 5th Avenue

It's not the most recognizable Christmas movie. I saw it last year for the first time.  The movie is about a homeless man in NY. He moves into a mansion and finds friends who also need a place to stay to live with him.

It's a Wonderful Life-
So classic, so perfect.

Now you can't have Christmas without George Bailey! This Brian's favorite movie. I knew he was the one when he told me he would also the moon for me.

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation

Oh Clark! Useless knowledge-I just found out today Aunt Bethany was the original voice Betty Boop!

There are so many classic movies I really wish I remembered them all.
Here are a few others I adore:
Home Alone
All I Want For Christmas
The Polar Express
The Santa Claus
Scrooged
A Christmas Carol
